I am a Social Worker by trade and have worked in community development for the past 20 years.
I have worked with Wayapa in my own practice in connection with country, with clients in one-on-one situations and group sessions. I am based on the Mid North Coast of NSW living on Gumbaynggirr Country.
This Wuurrk reminds us of what we need to nurture ourselves and the world we choose to live in. It connects us to our country, our ancestors and also each other. I am called to this Wuurrk to support others to discover and rediscover this connection in times that are changing.
As an accredited mental health counsellor, I connect in the area of perinatal care and early parenting, specialising in trauma and complex care. I have used this Wuurrk within our community to connect women with country and their experiences.
