Wayapa® is a natural modality for Rainbow Crow Cultural Collective as it focuses on healing through connection to Earth which resonates with an Aboriginal holistic framework of Caring for Country to promote health.
We have a deep ancestral connection to caring for our earth to ensure it cares for us.
The narrative mindfulness and Indigenous inspired movements allow for a healing space through yarning, sharing and connection to occur.
Wayapa Way 6 week earth-connection mindfulness program
A six week introduction course by Sarah a proud First Nations Wayapa Wurrkker! Wayapa® is an earth connection practice that is based on ancient Indigenous wisdom that focuses on taking care of the Earth as the starting point for creating Earth Mind Body Spirit well-being. We have become disconnected from our environment, from our tribe, from our food and from our Spirit. Through a combination of Earth mindfulness, narrative meditation, a series of physical movements and taking action
$150 for all 6 classes
Wayapa Wuurrk Individual Session Initial
Private individual session with Sarah a proud Darkinjun woman to introduce you to Wayapa® an earth connection practice that is based on ancient Indigenous wisdom that focuses on taking care of the Earth as the starting point for creating Earth Mind Body Spirit well-being. Wayapa® is about creating a different lifestyle but for those just starting, it can be done as a 25 minute physical practice, sitting or standing, or as a narrative meditation to slow us right down to sit in the stillness of nature.
$150 for initial 90 minute appointment
Wayapa Wuurrk Individual Session Follow Up
One on one follow up appointment with Sarah a Diploma Qualified Wayapa instructor and registered Aboriginal Health Practitioner to improve health and wellness through an Earth Mind Body Spirit connection practice.
$120 for 1hr follow up
Wayapa Wuurrk Introductory Workshop
1hr workshop which introduces participants to the philosophy, narrative mindfulness and physical practices of Wayapa Way an earth-connection based wellness modality that is both a lifestyle and holistic earth mind body spirit wellness practice. It is based on the knowledge of Australia’s First Nation people about caring for country to care for ourselves. Sarah shares her own cultural knowledge and beliefs whilst sharing Wayapa but encourages all participants to connect to Wayapa through their own ancestral connections.
$25 pp for 1hr introduction workshop
Holistic Wellbeing 1 Day Workshop
A full day workshop which blends Wayapa Way and its philosophy and earth connection modality with Aboriginal traditional holistic healing framework. Participants will use Wayapa practice, yarning circles and self-reflection activities to identify the strengths and weaknesses in the current social-emotional wellbeing and develop a coolamon of tools or skills to improve their social-emotional wellbeing holistically. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea plus sustainable resources included in the cost of workshop.
$150 pp for 6hr workshop.
