I am Kija Jaru from the Kimberley region on my mother’s side and Australian on my father’s side. I have lived and worked in remote, rural and urban areas including Alice Springs, NT and Childers, QLD.
My work experience includes leadership programs (coordinating and facilitating), community engagement, education worker, mentoring, commonwealth government and being a full-time mum!
As a single mother of 4, I am now reinventing myself after leaving a toxic marriage. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Psychology to provide a deeper holistic healing and wellbeing experience incorporating Western Psychology and Ancient Traditional Wisdoms – Wayapa.
Wayapa does more for me than connecting me to myself, the earth and the role I have in caring for it – it acknowledges both my Indigenous (mother) and non-Indigenous (father) background by bringing them together, as spirit people. Wayapa is the way forward for connecting on every level and it is an honor to serve and share with you.
