What is a Customs & Clearance Charge?

Customs is a government agency responsible for regulating shipments entering a country. All shipments being sent to and from a country must clear customs first. International customers will probably be asked to pay a fee (which differs from country to country) in order to receive their parcel. Please note, this is nothing to do with us or the postal charge we/you have paid. This is another 3rd party charge which is arranged by your countries government and is unavoidable when importing goods from another country. You may not always be asked to pay a fee, but it is most likely that you will be.

Who pays for custom clearance charges?

Buyers will often have to pay additional costs such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees to receive their parcels from Wayapa® Wuurrk P/L.

International buyers – please note: Import duties, taxes, and charges aren’t included in the item price or postage cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.  If you aren’t sure what extra charges you might be expected to pay to receive your goods, please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to ordering through our shop.

If I placed an order recently and don’t receive any further emails, when can I expect delivery of my order?

The day we post your parcel, we email you personally with your tracking code/receipt code so you know which day your parcel leaves and can gauge roughly when you can expect your parcel. If the item is in stock, it usually goes out within 48 hours of purchase. Please note if you are not home, your parcel can often end up at the local post office so look out for the card from the postie. If your parcel should go missing or not arrive within the time frame, please check with your local post office and also enter the tracking code we provided you to see the details of your parcel’s movements.

Postage delivery ETA’S

Australia – it should take 3-7 working days for your parcel to arrive, sometimes it can take slightly longer if it is a busy period or the parcel takes the scenic route – but generally you have it within a week of purchase.

EVERYWHERE ELSE – Generally it takes 4-6 weeks for regular mailed parcels to arrive. Please note, due to the large costs of shipping, you will receive a tracking number with your purchase to keep track of your parcel’s journey. We are not responsible for lost or misdelivered or unclaimed parcels.

My parcel has arrived damaged, faulty and I’m not happy with the product – what do I do?

If, by chance your parcel arrives in an unacceptable fashion – please let us know asap! Photos are always really helpful to gauge what the exact issue is so we can take the appropriate action, and we will happily accept returns based on damage or faulty products – you will need to send your parcel back to the address below and once we have confirmed the return, and we will resend you your order asap: PO Box 1007, Bacchus Marsh, Victoria, Aust, 3340
